The "Do as I say, not as I do" Party.
Hume delivered the talking points yesterday.

"HUME: It is very serious misbehavior on the part of Congressman Foley, whether it stems from arrogance or just weakness of the human flesh is another question. It’s probably worth noting that there’s a difference between the two parties on these issues. Inappropriate behavior towards subordinates didn’t cost Gerry Studds his Democratic seat in Massachussetts, nor Barney Frank his. Nor did inappropriate behavior toward a subordinate even cost Bill Clinton his standing within the Democratic Party, even though indirectly he was impeached for it. Mark Foley found out about this, was found out to have done this, and he’s out of office and in total disgrace in his party."

More context found here.

Look at them try to spin this, it should be a lesson to all. Has anyone seen "To Catch A Predator" on dateline? Foley's behavior is exactly like the scumbags they arrest on those reports.

The Republicans are indeed school yard bullies, who blame everyone else for their problems, and Humes spin proves this.

Listen to Newt on FOX news yesterday.

"GINGRICH: Well, you could have second thoughts about it, but I think had they overly aggressively reacted to the initial round, they would have also been accused of gay bashing. I mean, the original notes had no sexual innuendo and the parents did not want any action taken."

WOW..."accused of GAY BASHING"? What planet is Newt from anyway? This isn't about gay or straight, it's about a SEXUAL PREDATOR allowed to serve when his party's leadership KNEW he was a sexual predator.

All that matters to Republicans is their need for greed, and actual morals are only talked about to win elections. I doubt, considering the Republican party's legislation and voting record over the last 4 years, ESPECIALLY concerning defense contractors, drug companies, the oil industry and others who have ripped off the taxpayers for BILLIONS of dollars, I doubt there is one serving Republican who practices any moral values consistently.

Since they consider themselves the "good guys" they think they are allowed to do whatever they want. Take torture for example, since they consider themselves the good guys, they are allowed to torture people. Other country's who want to torture OUR troops, look out they're evil do-ers.

Do as I say, not as I do, that appropriate phrase should be sculpted in stone above the entrance to GOP headquarters. They do not represent me. They do not represent America....PERIOD!

Just what was Rush Limpballz doing in the Dominican Republic anyway?

1. This should be a campaign theme for Democrats
If only that could break this spell and the lie that economic policy and other issues has anythibng to do with "family values" regarfding personal sexual behavior.

We all have feet of clay and live in glass houses.

But the difference is that Republican conservatives are continually throwing stones at everyone else from their glass houses.

They trumpet the notion that Democratic Liberals are immoral and do not respect traditional family values. Meanwhile, after work they're abandoning their wives in the hospital, having illicit affairs with staffers, soliciting prostitutes while Praising Jeeezus and now -- sending salacious e-mails to young boys.

Republican conservatives are no more or less righteous and moral than Democrats, in terms of personal behavior. The only major difference is that the sin of hypocracy is much more imbedded in the GOP and Conservative psyche.
