The stereotypical gay male dresses well and works out. Hastert definitely does not fit that stereotype.

50. Oh, I dunno... how about John Gacy?
He, too was a fat pig. He liked to rape young boys--before murdering them.. (Disclaimer: no one has accused anyone in congress of rape at this time.)

Okay, well, I'll grant you, Denny probably isn't into, like, serial killing, but, hey... that's two fat male pigs, and one of 'em was into boys. Is the other one also into boys?

OTOH, one could argue that supporting the Iraq war is sort of like serial killing--2700+... now that's a kill rate Gacy could only dream about...

Jus' thinking my rambling thoughts out loud... have I finished pissing off everyone yet?:)

Apologies to all gay readers who are probably cringing. (Don't worry, folks--we straights still have to claim Junior and Jeb and Cheney and Rumsfeld and...etc.)

I have often wondered about Karen Hughes.

I have no actual knowledge of the sexual proclivities of any of these people. But I do know that I despise all of the above named persons--for reasons having nothing to do with sexual orientation.

11. It's IRRELEVANT!!
This has NOTHING to do with ANYTHING. Who gives a shit if there are HYPOCRITICAL Closet repub TURDS out there? That's their business, and is IRRELEVANT to this story.

Foley, the one "missing" in rehab, is the one who was propositioning pages, or worse. There were also some high profile repubs who tried to cover it up. That's what they do! COVER THINGS UP!

This one got away from them, and now they're trying to play on the fly. I could care less about the homophobic self-depricating repubs out there, and more about the BS they're dragging this country through DAY AFTER DAY AFTER DAY AFTER DAY AFTER DAY AFTER DAY AFTER DAY AFTER DAY AFTER DAY AFTER DAY......

24. I believe it was Lawrence O'Donnell on Scarborough's show who said that
people were going to be surprised at the number of gay Republican STAFFERS that have been controlling the Foley story, and that that info will be coming out in the next few days.

He said the story moved to the staff level today, with the dispute between Fordham and Hastert's COS, and that it will stay at the staff level for the next news cycle.

Scarborough did say there are a number of gay Republicans that are closeted, but I don't believe he said they were going to be "outed".

44. Live in Tampa. They call him "Tallahassee Lassie"
Crist was asked straight out (pun intended) whether he is gay? His response: "I'm not."

Okay, Randi Rhodes said Crist used to go to Coconut Grove on the East Coast of Florida, known as Las Vegas with Mark Foley.

Go figure. I personally don't care whether Crist is gay or not, but don't lie to the people, especially Evangelicals.

40. Perhaps closeted Repugs can follow the Pet Shop Boys' musical advice...
Please allow me to try and explain
I'm living proof that man can change
I knew what I wanted, I knew how to get it
It didn't make me happy to I started again
What I wanted to be was a family man
But nature had some alternative plans
So I did without the lot, put emotion on hold
And hoped my instincts would do what they were told

(I-I-I-I-I-I, I wanna know, yeah)
(I-I-I-I-I-I, I wanna know)

But every now and then, and often at night
A particular feeling would surface, in spite
Of what I'd told myself and tried to deny
I kept on asking the question: why?

(Why, why, why, I wanna know)

(You grow up and experience this)
(A total metaporphosis)
It's all about change, it's a metamorphosis

With time and age I had to change
'Cause my behaviour was getting strange
People on the street caught my eye
And I begin to think I might be their kind of guy
The long-term suppression of an adolescent urge
Was in retreat, and I was on the verge
Of falling in love or having fun
Time was running out, something had to be done.

(I wanna know, yeah)
(I wanna know)
(I wanna know, yeah)
(Tell me what's the reason)

Where was I? Laying down the law
Dancing with the others out on the floor
Music and smoke, what did it mean?
Somebody spoke and I went into a dream
I had what I wanted, madly in love
And nothing else mattered, this was enough
Questions were answered which used to perplex
In particular those about the big s.e.x.

(I-I, I wanna know, yeah (sex))
(I wanna know (sex))
(I wanna know, yeah)
(Tell me what's the reason (sex))
(Tell me what's the reason)

(You grow up and experience this)
(A total metaporphosis)
It's all about love, it's a metamorphosis

Dreaming is easy, life is tough, I got the picture
The most important thing is not to end up bitter
'Cause when you start to feel increasingly forlorner
- Woomph! - love comes right around the corner
It may not last, but here am I
Once a caterpillar, now a butterfly
It can seem strange, but when you reminisce
It's all about change, it's a metamorphosis

41. Along this this line of discussion
two nights in a row, Chris Matthews has thrown out this
question--
Should Gays be able to hold seats in the Congress(house and
senate). I get the distinct feeling there is rumbling and
grumbling in parts of the Republican Party( Christian Coalition)
which has to do with Gays being able to serve. Terry(Last name escapes me)
however he is the Head of Family Research Council--and keeps the
Coalition on tract. Night before last --it was obvious he was
upset with the Foley Debacle and especially the Leadership for
how they are handling the who situation. But he all but said
Gays should not be permitted to serve. Matthews should have a transcript
for Oct 3 and 4. Oct 3 more informative. Terry was referring to the
Republican Party not the entire Senate and House.
Terry was on Fox tonight and his frustration was getting the
better of him and he said. "You can see where all this diversty
has gotten us. The Host moved the conversation away.

Therefore if there is any outing--the Republicans will do it.

Pat Buchannan was so angry he was saying every page, past and present,
should be asked to come forward and tell if there is any Congressmen
who have said or acted inappropriately. His constituents at American
cause probably are pushing him.

Frankly, yes Foley was wrong --the Republican Leadership have
failed to get this thing under control but this does not warrent a
a witch hunt. My opinion.

That Religious Group can create problems. This is what happens when
you call your opposition Godless and act as if you have cornered
the market on God. More is expected and the bar is higher.

Why must these politicians live in fear? Why not fight their party of homophobia and show the world that you can be a conservative, a christian and a homosexual. Instead they would rather deny who they are to suck up to the party leaders. These closeted homosexuals must have the lowest form of self-esteem
