5. I work with a staunchly repub guy....

...he's the sales rep for two states, I'm the system engineer supporting him. He's GOP, I'm DEM & we most of the time agree to disagree. He's of the opinion that ALL politicians are crooks (something I tend to agree with at times). This Foley stuff has really gotten to him, as he is a also a parent.

He's starting to see the light, but thinks we should 'throw ALL the bums out'. Something I find it hard to disagree with, since many DEM's voted yes for the IWR - when they KNEW it was wrong, but they 'were scared' of being labelled 'soft on terror' and wanted to get re-elected. Wussies!

What did Iraq ever do to us, other than want to kill GHWB? I believe he has enough protection from the american SS that he need not worry....

He & I agree that we need to somehow take the money out of politics - don't know how, but we do know that the politicians of both parties serve their corporate masters, not the people (with some notable exceptions....)
