Looks like the underage sex scandal in Congress is about to blow wide open, if current reports are true. Thus, it is worthwhile to look back at a prior such scandal, one that was actually made into a documentary by British TV, which was scheduled to air on The Discovery Channel on May 3, 1994. But Congress threatened the entire cable TV industry with crippling new regulations if the show was aired, and TDC caved, pulling the show at the last second.

Crane was censored at the same time as was Gerry Studds, for exactly the same thing: consensual sex with a 17 year old page. The only two differences: Studds was a Democrat, Crane was a Republican; Studds was with a male page, Crane was with a female page.

The whole undercurrent of S&M* and pedophilia in this current administration has its roots in its fascist past, but this was something within most DUer's lifetimes that was covered with the BIG blanket.
