Ethnic Cleansing in Baghdad.

American troops are now defending the Sunnis from the Shias... In a grand reversal, American troops have started replacing the Shiite security forces in and around Baghdad. The historical irony is that we went into Baghdad to overthrow Saddam Hussein and the Sunnis. And now, we have to protect those same people we threw out of power.

A reporter from MSNBC, Richard Engel, I think?, reported tonight from a trash dump in Baghdad where Sunnis were taken after being captured and tortured. And they were executed at the trash dump. Hundreds and hundreds of these executions are now taking place.

That is why the US is asking the Shiite security forces to back down and leave the job for the American troops. Also, that is why our casualty list this week is one the highest since we invaded that country. It appears that there are some Shiites that want to kill all the Sunni people. That is called ethnic cleansing in some places. In Iraq, it is called "civil war".
