LOL!! Introducing George W. Bush
Edited on Thu Oct-05-06 10:39 PM by colorado thinker
Bob Beauprez introducing Bush at a fundraiser "In times of great peril, great leaders rise. Washington, Lincoln, Churchill and Bush". Heard this on Jay Marvin this morning.

Beauprez is running for Governor of Colorado - I predict he won't make it, since the Democratic challenger, Bill Ritter, actually has some brains.

These republicans are pathetic!
:rofl:

Edited to include rather important bit I left out . . .

1. Did he say that?
Is he a repub? He sits in for Ed Schultz sometimes. Used to sit in for Springer too. I heard him a couple times & thought he wasn't too bad.

I hope I'm either confusing him with someone else or he was quoting someone else.

6. Sorry, my fault - Beauprez was introducing Bush at a fund raiser
Bob Beauprez is the one who made that ridiculous claim. Sorry, I'm way tired tonight, 60 hour weeks are getting to me . . . .

4. The chimp subscribes to the "Great Man" theory of leadership but...
there is no way to test that theory, as long as he's in office.

On the other hand, megalomania, thy name is George W. Bush.

5. Which One Isn't Like The Others?
OK, kids, pick the thing that's not like the other things:

Dog, cat, rabbit, centipede.

Car, truck, bus, giant squid.

Rose, lily, daisy, bubonic plague.

Kiss, hug, smile, running sore.

Washington, Lincoln, Churchill, Bush.

8. Another, which one isn't like the others.
From the David Letterman show: Famous Presidential Speeches.

FDR - We have nothing to fear but fear itself.
JFK - Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.
* - My lawyer is a latino.

* is such a doofus.
