I've received several phone calls over the last week from Ohio Dem Party reminding me to vote absentee. ODP is sending out absentee ballot applications to voters. Great idea, good strong push.
While they're not saying anything about problems with electronic voting and election day vote suppression, they're definitely getting the message out to vote by mail. Kudos to Redfern and ODP!
3. You should have heard him when he started ranting about the
vapor trails in the sky ... he was making it into "homeland security" ... anywhere where you saw an "x" in the sky (two trails crossing) was "all clear" by the security ... this was in 2004, during a time when flying was rather common ...
I wanted to call in and tell him that "bright orange light" he saw one early morning out east was "The Sun" - something that is often rare in the Cleveland area ...
He spent 3 days on the vapor trails. I'm a pilot and tried to call him to explain that when it is moist air with scortching hot jet exhaust going by it simple makes steam. He wanted nothing to do with that "theory."
The guy is a moron but gets huge ratings.
PS. For those reading this Mike Trivisanno is the afternoon talk host on WTAM 1100 AM in CLeveland. He started as a sports talk host but when he gets off topic it gets real interesting.
it's hard to listen to that in the car ... at least, when I get into work, I can get a radio to pick it up ... but then I have to turn it off when someone comes into my office ...
I drove from North Canton to Cleveland for an Indians game last weekend and it was fine all the way to the lot on East 14th street. You go anymore west though and it is tough. East is better.
