Mark Foley to a page.
Wetterling, running against Republican Michele Bachmann in Minnesota's 6th District, has run a TV ad calling for the expulsion of members of Congress who knew about or were involved in inappropriate contact with underage pages.
Wetterling became an advocate after a gunman kidnapped her son, Jacob, 17 years ago. She said she wants to promote "the world that my son believed in and that my granddaughter believes in, one where hope overcomes hate, where we live in safe communities and where we all have the opportunities to fulfill our dreams.
"I look forward to having the chance to express this message in my response to the president's address," she said.
