Sailor: I watched Marines kill Iraqi civilian
More bad news for the Repukes:

"CAMP PENDLETON, California (AP) -- A Navy corpsman testified at his court-martial Friday that he watched as Marines shot an Iraqi civilian in the head after taking him from his home in the town of Hamdaniya.

Petty Officer 3rd Class Melson J. Bacos, 21, said he saw two Marines fire at least 10 rounds into 52-year-old Hashim Ibrahim Awad.

Seven Marines and Bacos, a medic who had been on patrol with them that day, are charged in Awad's April 26 death. Bacos was the first to go to a court-martial. Friday morning he pleaded guilty to kidnapping and conspiracy under a deal in which other charges were dropped and Bacos agreed to testify about what he saw.

Bacos testified that he asked the Marines to let Awad go, but he said Marine Cpl. Marshall L. Magincalda told him he was being weak and should stop protesting..."

1. Execution murders, throw-down shovels
Yep, this is what democracy, Bush-style looks like Iraq. Hard to understand why you're not just clamoring to get your piece of it. And what sort of nonsense is this? None of these Marines have families of their own? Can't imagine their loved ones subjected to similar treatment? What sort of monsters have we bred in the Iraqi desert to return to our country and submerge into the mainstream, only to erupt at some time in the future?

2. Trying to figure out the difference between Marines and Gestapo
and I think I've got it:

1) Some of ours don't participate
2) Then ones who do at least pretend they don't

3. Too broad.
It was a despicable and vicious crime, for which the perpetrators are being tried with a very high likelihood of being convicted. By the Marines (and USN).

Gestapo that ain't.
