Newsweek Poll: Reason for Concern
Edited on Sat Oct-21-06 12:15 PM by sampsonblk
According to a newsweek article, Dems are still ahead and appear poised for a big victory.

Are the Faithful Losing Faith?
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/15357623/site/newsweek/

After reading the article, I don't feel so certain. The numbers are trending toward the GOP, and if we follow the current trends, the GOPers may actually survive this thing. If so, I think I will be jumping off a cliff somewhere.

On edit: Corrected the title of the article.

1. "Moral Issues" - code for hate.
This whole discussion of Moral Issues disgusts me. What is less 'moral', being involved in a homosexual relationship or killing a hundred thousand innocent people? What is less moral, a woman's right to choose or facilitating an economy where 45 million people try to inch by on declining wages with NO healthcare system in place for them?

Moral issues...what a bunch of hackneyed bullshit.

The Dems have lost a point in their lead over Repubes on moral values???
Down to 41-37 from 42-36.

Wow.

Watch out for the sky.

4. After Abu Grhaib, no Republican anywhere can claim moral ground,
and their party's been the one pimping that street for years.

This year is a Democratic tide and it's comin' in real strong.
