1. It has been an issue on CNN for months
Lou Dobbs has covered it, Jack Cafferty has discussed it more than once. A critical issue absolutely, but these days not the only issue as anything resembling good news is very hard to find.

2. Yes, but FOX News Channel in their usual smarmy way is BASHING

CNN for airing the video that someone received from the insurgents.

They are wrapping themselves in the flag and implying that because it showed shooting our troops, that automatically makes CNN unpatriotic.

FOX Cable News Channel, IMO, is vomit. :puke:

3. Where were they in 2002 when HAVA was passed, or in 2004, when
HAVA paid off?

I'm not--and I can't be--against any help we can get in raising consciousness about these riggable, secretly programmed voting machines. I think it's going to be a long hard fight to get rid of them, and that we will be battling corrupt, corporate Democratic leaders as well as Republicans, the whole way. It goes beyond this (s)election and to the heart of our democracy--corporations achieving direct and secret control of election results. But still I have to ask: Where were they--where were they all--when this shit came down? And how many Americans and Iraqis would still be alive, if the Bush Junta hadn't manufactured a phony endorsement of their damnable war in 2004?

4. Their only covering the machines now
because it looks like the DEMS are going to win and they can plant doubt in any race where the results are close.

Watch the Repugs contest every election that they can.

7. to be fair, Lou Dobbs has been covering this for several years
he was before the 2004 election as well.

But Lou Dobbs is a nationalist and it seems he has long believed that this administration is incredibly incompetent with nearly every single aspect of governing and is slowly taking this country back decades.

5. I had a dream last night...
that the Republicans plan to manipulate voting in a Blue state in order to expose an electronic voting fraud that goes in favor of the Democrats. Kinda like a frame-up to cast doubt upon a legit loss.

I know that's ridiculous, but that doesn't mean it's above them.
