He took on an ad by Michael J Fox that would have been minor kick-ass for our side in a couple of states, and turned it into a talking point that may well put the Democratic party over the top this year. His sick, nauseating gyrations while pretending to be a victim of Parkinson's were so hideous, they may well cost the GOP congress this year, just because of the twisted hatred he spews.

The Might Maja Rushie shows himself to be just another pathetic piece of garbage while Michael J Fox comes out looking like the class act that he is.

I don't understand how any progressives can even listen to a that guy or his show. Yhere may not be many, but I know some from here do--as I've seen posts in the past, quoting what he's said. I've seen the argument of "understanding the enemy", etc. I'm sorry but I just don't get listening to such vile hate speech for any reason. It's poison.

minor to MAJOR league. Apparently, according to one poll, support for embryonic stem cell reseach went up among Democrats, Republicans, and Independants after Rush's crass behavior.

Certainly he's gross, but he is doing his best to elect Clair McCaskill senator from Missouri. At least give him credit for that!

2. The ONLY thing that's going to put us over the top this year...

...is GETTING OUT THE VOTE. We need people making calls and ringing doorbells EVERY DAY between now and Nov. 7. Then on Nov. 7 itself, we need poll watchers, people who can drive others to the polls, etc.

That's the ONLY thing that's going to ensure a Progressive victory this year. Screw Lush.
