5. You can't compare primary polls to general election polls.
They are two completely different creatures.

6. I agree with your analysis and have faith that we will pull this one off.
You have to believe that the polls do not effectively capture the energy and enthusiasm on our side. Burns is not a popular candidate and i wonder how many of those who say they support him will actually travel to the polls on Election Day.

7. Just drive around town here in NW. MT
and you see nothing but Tester signs - here and there are a few Burns signs, mostly out front of businesses if you can believe it -

I think the support for Tester is way stronger than these polls indicate -

I went to a democratic rally last night in Whitefish and it was so packed you could not even get in! people are pissed and energized; altho one speaker made a comment that Dems would have to show up at the polls in the 70 percent range and I have a hard time with that assessment.
