The Repukes Will NOT Take Bernie's Seat In The House.

There seems to be some concern that this is a House Seat that could go to the repukes. Not gonna happen. Peter Welch is up 10 points in all the polls. What's more, Peter is an outstanding guy; a true blue liberal and a very strong environmentalist. Vermont is about to send another stellar politician to Washington. He really is worthy of taking Bernie's place. Our Congressional delegation is currently one of the best in the country (albeit, tiny). It's about to get even better.

It is hard not to give our little state a communal pat on the back for the caliber of person we send to Washington, and even the republicans we used to send, were outstanding sorts; Aiken, Stafford, Prouty, etc.
