490,000 weapons unaccounted for in Iraq as just reported on CNN
Lou Dobbs reported 133 million dollars spent for weapons for the Iraqi military and police. They cannot verify approximately 490,000 as being assigned to Iraqi military or police. They may be in the hands of Iraqi security forces or they may be in the hands of insurgents.

Incredible!

2. This is just business 101
for cripes sake......everyone tags their assets and records them and who is assigned to them.....except of course business boy in the wh...you know the one who has all the failed businesses on his resume?

I still want to know where the hell Bremer hid the $8 mil he stole.......

And the missing weapons? Well, they are being used to shoot our troops you dumb a**es!

Again, just when you think it can't get any worse with this bunch of yahoos, it does. And then Duncan what's his nose in San Diego today says Rummy's the best thing the military has had in years and that Ronnie Raygun started the 'rebuilding' of the military....I got ill and had to change stations.

3. Just a thought...
It seems like contractors in Iraq billed the US government for all sorts of things it never delivered. Usually, that's the first thing people point out when we hear about the government paying for something that can't be found. In this particular case, I haven't seen anyone (yet) mention the possibility that they can't find the weapons because they were never shipped. The manufacturers (or resellers) that they purchased the weapons from may very well have sold them millions of dollars worth of empty crates.

6. As an added bonus,
they can sell the same guns twice. By selling guns imaginary guns, you don't even have to worry about production costs. It's all profit!
