2. We have plenty of them. Democrats simply refuse to capitalize on them.
If Foley had been a DEM, every single elected Republican would be bringing him up on TV every chance. I have not seen an elected DEM on TV even mention him in weeks, it seems.

Then we have Allen's sealed arrest records- I have not heard any DEMS on TV say much about that one either. Or Woodwards book- all our leaders seemed to have flat out forgotten that one too.

OH-that's right- we are waiting on Republican "journalists" to talk about it some more on our behalf- yeah.

4. Remember. We are the ones with values
If we take away our values, we are just as bad as them.

9. The voters don't perceive a difference
There is no poll showing that Americans think Dems campaign less dirty than Repubs. There is nothing to lose by going with what works.

And simply telling the truth about Foley, Hastert, Frist, Schiavo, Cheney, Rumsfailed, et al is going to SOUND negative. In the immortal words of Colbert -- "the Truth has a well-known liberal bias"

14. Telling the truth about Republicans is not giving up our values.
No one is saying we lie about them like they do to us.

12. No one said we had to fabricate or lie about a scandal.
We do not "become Republicans" or stoop to their level of dishinesty simply by making factual statements that happen to make them look bad.

Bin laden issued a fatwa demanding the US military leave saudi territory, and Bush did so. Thats why there have been no attacks on US soil in the last 5 years, because Bush bent to the demands of the "Terrists".

16. winning control of congress due to scandal
means you won primarily because you weren't the other guy.

I would rather acquire control of congress and support for our
progressive agenda.

although maybe a minor little rethug sex scandal would be okay.
