Well, a lot of screaming over the ad. It turns out that Harold Ford has dated a white woman. Once again, no problem here. Go for it. I'm just pointing out the ad was not a stretch.

I don't care who he dated. And even then, it would have been a personal matter involving ONLY the parties in it.

He knows by bringing this matter up on his show people in TN who do not believe in mixed relationships (there are lots of them in a state like TN) are going to vote against Ford. You missed a 4th point there "that I legally drank adult beverages".

So the faithful in TN can now say "Ford had a drunken bing with a 18 year old white woman, whom he probably got drunk so he could rape her. What would her daddy think about this? I don't want this happening to my sweet little 18 year old milk white daughter".

Most white women (and women of other races) would gladly date Ford over Limpball any day. Your choice - a handsome, tall, well spoken politician or a fat, balding, old, ugly, hate mongering, radio talker. Limpball is jealous as usual. He can only get little boys in foreign countries.

9. Until This Ad Came Up I Wasn't Even Aware Harold Ford Was Black

(Tennessee elections don't get much coverage in South Georgia) just that his opponent was involved in several questionable land deals.
Now, while Limbaugh dating a woman, exclusive of her race, might be news in and of its self (we would, for instance, want to know just how close to legally blind she was & whether she intentionally removed the batteries from her hearing aids or whether the Bloated One did it behind her back) the story about Ford loses any import unless the words "white" and "black" are inserted or implied. This makes it racist, prima facie. So, we can conclude that Rush Limbaugh is a racist blowhard. I'm shocked.

that's the only way there is any "basis" for this ad, and it still doesn't say anything bad about Ford. But it (and he) sure dis the hell out of women (white ones anyway).
