GOP opened the door for an ass kicking from Kerry
Edited on Tue Oct-31-06 02:54 PM by 59millionmorons
He just told John McCain to ask for an apology from Bush and Cheney about the war. They allowed Kerry to remind us about Bush's failures in Iraq and Katrina. They also allowed Kerry to remind people that Bush and Cheney failed to serve. They should of left this go. The GOP should have thought this out before jumping on it. They were so desperate to have a story and didnt think of the response Kerry would hammer them with.

16. The veneer is off and the public isn't believing the spin they used to
no matter how desperately the media kicks in to protect BushInc.

11. He told students to study hard & get smart of
they might end up stuck in Iraq (ref. to dumbass Bush getting us stuck in Iraq.)

The fact that this is ALL they want to talk about is just so telling -- I think most Americans will see it for the desperate grandstanding that it is...

15. Thanks
Talking about this should be the last thing that they want to do. Iraq is the top reason people want them out so this should backfire.

They're not only shameless, they're fucking stupid as well.

5. I'm afraid you're wrong
I think the impression that most people in this country will be left with is that Kerry put down the soldiers in Iraq and McCain, Boehner, The American Legion and others, asked for an apology.

7. It would have
if Kerry had of done what he did in 2004 with the shit being shovelled by the swift assholes. He may have said something easily manipulated by that dim bulb Tony Snow but by hitting them back hard, he reminds everyone that shrub and crashcart are _the_ reason our kids are dying in Iraq.

I have no problem with him reminding everyone that bush and cheney are yellow streaked chickenhawks either and I hope he does it every day.

14. I live in Vermont
We have the highest per capita deaths from the Iraq debacle. I don't need to pound it. The vast majority of this state's residents are already painfully aware of what a fucking disaster bush is, but that was hardly my point to begin with.

6. I think so too.
The Dem's could destroy them with this if they have the guts. Kerry is sounding pretty good thus far. Hell, it could be a strategy. Say something that will jump start the fake "righteous indignity " of the pukes, then slam them with it.

13. Let's have this battle!
I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm ready.

Kerry has drawn a line in the sand and is mad as Hell. Let's show the Repukes that we have collective backbone. They started this fight and soon they are going to want to bury it because it is not going to help them. It is going to hurt them. People see how desperate they are and how they are ready to pounce on a single mis-speak. The American public isn't stupid and they are angrier than ever!

Let's keep the light on IRAQ and take this fight to the polls!

Eff them all!
