This old girl could just about bite a nail in half right now. I`ve abso-freakin-lutely had it. The issue isn`t what Senator Kerry said (or didn`t say) about the troops. The issue is what Bush did to the troops. What Bush is still doing to the troops. Not just Bush, but that entire horde of chickenshit combat "experts" he surrounds himself with, including the guy who rented the codpiece flightsuit for that little AWOL pretend Rambo.
What do they think we are, dittohead morons? Like we`re supposed to overlooking dead people floating around New Orleans because Commander Man flew over in a dry airplane? Like we should praise Bush`s "robust" economy because prosthesis company employees are getting lots of war-driven overtime? We`re supposed to respect Bush, this father-rescued do nothing? The guy whose service during the Vietnam War amounted to nothing more than holding down a bar stool? We`re supposed to salute Dick Cheney? Five-deferment Big Dick? The guy who salivates over waterboarding even though he had "more important priorities" while friends of mine were being obliterated in Vietnam? Cheney, the man who pays money for someone to send up 600 quail for him to use for target practice?
We`re supposed to be filled with reverence for Republican Senators? You mean the ones with the golf course tans and the room service? The ones who constantly refer to their Democratic colleagues as "cut and runners" even though their own pampered asses haven`t seen a day of sacrifice? The ones holding the American flags with their right hands while their left hands are emailing pages, taking bribes, stuffing a defense bill with pork or cutting veteran`s benefits? The guys who tried to destroy Max Cleland, the soldier who left three limbs on a battlefield? How many limbs do those Senators have and how is it they got to keep them?
Are there no Democrats fighting in Iraq? No Democrats at Walter Reed? No Democrats on The Wall in Washington? No Democratic Party veterans in the House? The Senate? You mean all the heroes are in the Republican Party? All the courage and bravery is limited to those with a big R after their names? We`ve been way too easy on these chickenhawks. It`s time to nail them, but good. What they`ve done to our troops, to Iraq, to this country....is unforgiveable.
