Everybody makes a few bad off-hand remarks. Kerry isn't good at making jokes. He sticks his foot in his mouth sometimes. Everyone knows it.

It doesn't make the failure in Iraq any less bad.

1. Compare the number of "gaffes' Bush has made

I never noticed the talking heads going crazy over any of those.

I never noticed the media going batshit over them either.

I never noticed freepers attacking bush for "giving ammunition" to whoever.

And you are right, , ,now the focus is right back on Iraq -- exactly where the repubs don't want it.

It's a week before the election.

I am sure the White House reviewed several soundbites before deciding which one they'd be "outraged" about today.

I expect them to pull that crap a few more times this week.
