Dirty Confession I'm making.......I am ashamed of myself for revealing this...
but sometimes I watch Kudlow & Company on CNBC. When it's a bad night for Progressives on MSNBC or Blitzer has too much fluff and I've already read the top stories of the day on the Internet....I turn to Kudlow & Company on CNBC to see what the Corporatists are doing.

I will admit that Larry is probably Fox News (GE/MSNBC/CNBC) ...but since I've never watched Fox news and only read what DU'ers report I might be viewing Kudlow & Co. and better than it is because he does have Repugs but he also seems to try to give Dems and Lefties along with the Righties a fair hearing.

My dirty secret is that this Lefty/Populist Dem finds that Kudlow does have folks you won't see on the MSNBC/CNN "Dog & Pony Show" in the same (EST) time slot. Robert Reich is a regular guest and he does usually include FOUR panelists. Tonight Larry Sabato was a guest...Craig Crawford has been a guest and while I think Larry is as Reagan as the day is LONG...the show is worth a few hits every once in awhile. Not a steady diet but...an alternative salad..where you can "pick and choose" amongst his "Devils Advocate Rhetoric" and his panel guests as to what you think is important.

Tonight he did Barack Obama....he does other features...but...I feel dirty when I watch him....yet I think his show has some potential....

1. Information is where you find it ..........
There are those who like to chastise those who watch certain teevee shows or hosts .....

I see that as snobish.

I watch Tucker Carlson. I can't stand him, but his guests are often pretty good. And it is always useful to know what idiots like him are spewing.

I've never watched Kudlow, but I have watched Lou Dobbs .... and mostly find him fair, even if conservative.

2. my problem with KO
is that he NEVER has anyone on who disagrees with him. While I also despise the typical three-panel show where the host tries to tell the other two panels to stop shouting at each other, and I hate how O'Reilly talks over people, it gets boring when it's just an hour long of kiss-up and back slapping.

It would be nice to see KO actually have someone on who has another point of view so KO can discuss things with him.

Why the left shows don't do that, when that's what the shows from the right have thrived on, I'll never know.

5. I find it refreshing that Keith
has people on who take the subject a bit farther than most other programs. Keith's questions are usually designed to take the discussion to another level. His guests seem to appreciate that he will not be yelling at them or talking over them. The rong wing talking hair-dos do not tolerate progressive or liberal voices - lieberman does NOT count - what they define as 'liberal' does not come close to the definition. I'll take Keith's guests any day.

3. he reminds me of someone's ...
drunk father...which for some reason I don't find offensive. That said, I've given up on the television for news for now. It makes me crazy.

6. I really don't have any idea what you're talking about.
I don't watch television anymore.
And I feel so much better!
