Edited on Tue Dec-12-06 11:48 PM by JCMach1
Obama- Show me what you got? Will he crack under the spotlight?
Hillary- Can you convince me of your IWR vote now?
Biden- Well,is Biden.
Vilsack- The Sackman cometh, but what does he bring?
Kucinich- Love the politics, personality like nails on a chalkboard...

and others waiting in the wings...

1. I'll join you ...

I won't even have a favorite until all the candidates officially announce. This "thinking about it" stuff does nothing for me. Been there before.

I'll probably start openly supporting a candidate at some point several months after that, when I've had time to do some research on them.

9. I think we all are...
Undecided in one way or another, but we are all just soo excited about the names that are coming out to run. All of them sound like better options than John Kerry was.

10. Not me ...

I was excited in '88 when all the names were being thrown around. And then reality hit. Hell, I was excited in '04, not because of Kerry, but because we really did have a good slate of candidates, and then I was driving home one day, hearing on the radio something I was sure was a comedy skit, and the day after that it all fell apart.

I'll save my excitement for actual candidates after they've been vetted, made some mistakes, and had a chance to respond to them. How they respond to mistakes will form a large part of who I support in the primaries.

3. Yup.
We've got some good contenders in the picture and this is going to be a very interesting primary year. I'm committed to sitting back and watching it all unfold and making my decisions much, much later in the game.

8. I'm neutral...
Like I was LAST time on this board, this time I guess I'll do what I can to keep the peace, so to speak. I DO have a person in mind, HOWEVER, I will NOT mention them here, not ever. I've already defended opponents of my candidate, in addition to the candidate themselves. I don't like inaccurate bashing of candidates.

12. Much can change between now and 2008.
Way too soon to start posturing and promoting candidates now...we ought to stay focused on getting our agenda passed in 2007.

13. Darn tootin!!! I can wait to hear a little stumping and convincing and debating before I make up my
mind....unless a relative runs, and that's not real likely! Far more productive to focus on the agenda that will help our candidate win in 08!

14. I'll join ya
I got no idea right now who I will vote for in a primary. Lots of good prospects but honestly we just won the House and the Senate and got all the investigations coming up in the months ahead. We still have work to do and there is time for thinking things out. Why rush this, I want to take my time and pick. And let's see who really is running first! I like quite a few of them. Some, like Vilsak, I don't even know!

I think I will wait until 2008 to decide, although I will be listening.

18. do we get a special avatar?
I mean, If I sat down and really labored over it, I would choose between Clark, Gore, Biden, Bayh, Vilsack, or Clinton...

But I'm certainly undecided.
