COVERAGE BEGINS AT 9:00 A.M. AND WILL INCLUDE INTERVIEWS WITH 2008 PROSPECTS CHRIS DODD, WES CLARK & TOM VILSACK

SECAUCUS, N.J. – February 1, 2007 – As the Democratic National Committee gathers in Washington, DC for its annual winter meeting, MSNBC will report from Capitol Hill all day on Friday, February 2. Democratic presidential hopefuls including Senator Joe Biden, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, Senator Chris Dodd, former Senator John Edwards, Senator Barack Obama and others will join DNC Chairman Howard Dean and more than 400 DNC members from across the country to plot the party's course for the future, for the country, and for the 2008 campaign. DNC speakers and presidential candidates scheduled to appear on MSNBC include Senator Chris Dodd, Retired U.S. Army General Wesley Clark and former Iowa Governor Tom Vilsack.

MSNBC will feature analysis and interviews with party leaders, political analysts and journalists. The anchor schedule throughout the day will include NBC News "Weekend Today" Co-Anchor Lester Holt, NBC News Chief Foreign Affairs Correspondent Andrea Mitchell, MSNBC Chief Washington Correspondent Norah O'Donnell, NBC News Correspondent Chip Reid and MSNBC Host Joe Scarborough, among others.

Full coverage from the day will be available at www.politics.msnbc.com, including the best on-demand video from the day's interviews. MSNBC.com's Tom Curry will report from inside the DNC meeting all weekend, getting rapid reaction from participants including DNC members and the "super-delegates," each of whom has a vote at the nominating convention.

1. Cancelled.
They were trying to trick us!

I watched MSNBC all of today....just cause I thought I'd see a promo.

When they didn't show his photo as one schedule to speak, and said "deja vu!"

The neocons people must have gotten on the phone...and talked to the Tweety people! LOL!

You're right. I checked his site and the MSNBC appearance is gone. Just Fox again. :cry:

The cancellation for MSNBC was Due to WES having a conflict, in squeduling...Not same time as FOX, but, at the time of appearance on MSNBC...HARDBALL...only...still speaking at DNC...on C-Span at 10:21 ET

10. Very somber, subdued, and invoking the BIG principles of the country...
A heartfelt and deeper, personal perspective of the troops' sacrifices.

But he also discussed other issues of balance and fairness, including women's rights, bogus tax cuts, corporate profits, etc...

And, it sounded at times like it could have been a campaign speech!!! (I was hoping he'd announce when he started talking about the need for a strong Democratic president!)
