How much difference would it make in the war if Bush and Cheney left
...office? I truly believe that there would be a huge sigh of relief across the world, but most decidedly, in Iraq and the rest of the ME. Am I totally off base? Would things settle down enough we could then bring our troops home?

Just think of how you would feel if you had a burr in your side and it constantly agitated you to the point of causing you to strike out at everyone. Remove the burr. How long would it take before the irritation was healed and you were settled down? To me, Bush is a burr on the butt of the world...certainly on the butt of Iraq and America.

I just keep thinking that if those two were out of office, we could start working our way back to what and who we were six years ago.

1. Well, that sure is a mighty BIG burr to do all the damage it's done.
Too bad it didn't get digested before it was passed and too bad the passee didn't didn't get flushed down the toilet along with burr.

3. That's how I feel and it keeps eating away at me.
I guess it's just too simplistic to make sense, but it would sure be nice to give it a try to see what would happen.

7. You think Nancy's going to bomb Iran? Let the troops rot in Iraq? We need those
war criminals and human rights offenders out of office now!
