Bush wants to screw the elderly...again
Bush says budget will limit non-defense spending (Yahoo News)

President George W. Bush said on Saturday his upcoming budget proposal would emphasize restraint on domestic spending while making defense and war costs for Iraq and Afghanistan the top priority.

Bush, who addressed House of Representatives Democrats at their retreat in Williamsburg, Virginia, on Saturday, also called for a bipartisan effort to rein in entitlement programs, such as the Medicare health program for older Americans.

"Controlling spending also requires us to address the unsustainable growth of entitlement programs such as Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid," Bush said. "Spending for these programs is growing faster than inflation, faster than our economy, and faster than our ability to pay for it."

Bush's budget will propose squeezing about $70 billion in savings from the Medicare and Medicaid health programs over the next five years, an administration official said.

Bush's M.O.: Let old people die in America, so we can kill more people overseas!

The Democrats in Congress had damned well better not pass this budget, or else the Dems won't win jack sh*t in 2008. They weren't elected to rubber-stamp this retarded chimp's insane policies!

Geez -- where can I get on board this train

In public say one thing -- in governmental session, advocate the opposite. Now that is what I love about Chimpy. Everything is right there in front of you... A satchel so enormous -- filled with lies, money, and departed souls -- that it is a wonder he can tout the fucking thing around with him 24/7. May he, and his cabal, all burn in hell.

2. The first thing that disgusts me is the fact that many
politicians use the word "entitlement", which began to sound as if this is strictly a government handout. Government has raided Social Security for decades when they wanted funds. It has been abused and mishandled for ages. Reminds me of the Bureau of Indian Affairs and the crimes committed within that department. I worked a major part of my life and paid into the fund, plus paying taxes . My income is small these days. Medicare actually does not pay as much as they would like one to believe. Yes, the Dems damn well better cut this off at the pass. Leave their stinkin" hands off of it. Make it impossible to raid ect.At this stage of life I hate politicians and what they have come to stand for.Very little is done for the benefit of the people, imo.Yes,we are entitled to what we paid for. Washington can't stand the fact that folks might actually get a return for what they paid for.FDR made his mistakes, but he was a savior to many people. The Pugs have always hated him and have tried to destroy every program he initiated. They've done a good job of it.I'm 73 and mad as hell. I really don't to feel that I have to keep on fighting everything, but have no choice.I want to see big time Karma hit these evil bastards.

3. the war in iraq helps the republic party and the corporatists kill two birds
with one stone.

the legacy of the war in iraq is the money spent on it -- both in reconstruction{and don't think we won't send more billions that the money already earmarked} and the increased flow to the pentagon.

SINCE REAGAN -- the republick party has publicly attacked and they have announced their intention to dismantle the social services structure of the federal government.

the debt and increased deficit they are creating provide them with the tools to do just that.

as long as the republick succeeds in defining the government as a thing alien to america and americans -- the easier it is for them to convince americans that they are being fleeced by social security, welfare queens, medicare fraud, whatever.

4. Somebody needs to explain to * that Medicare and SS are NOT entitlement programs
They were when first implemented, but the rest of us have paid into it our entire working lives. Get a clue.
