The comeback line democrats OUGHT to be using
Edited on Mon Feb-05-07 11:24 PM by Parisle
--- The GOP wants to block debate of the central issue of the day,.. the fiasco in Iraq which THEY visited upon our country. And their now universally-despised leader wants to deprive ordinary Americans of health care services, in order to further pursue that fiasco and enrich defense contractors? And all they can think about stateside is stuffing the courts with nazi cronies?

--- Well here are the facts of the matter. 70% of Americans,.. a clear, legal democratic majority.... now oppose this war,.. this "surge," ... this escalation towards Iran. They do NOT want the GOP running things; they just told you that in no uncertain terms in November. The American people have spoken for themselves.

--- The Bush-enabling GOP is either "with them," .... or "against them." Period. That will be the extent of the discussion.

--- The people and the Constitution ARE the country. The democrats speak for the country. To oppose them is to fall on the wrong side,.. the traitorous side,.. of that "either-or" dichotomy.

--- Got that? You're either for the US, or against the US. And if you're against the US, we have the right to take any action deemed appropriate by treason laws and common sense.

1. What gets me is...
They even got Chuck Hagel and Gordon Smith to go along with them...what kind of shoes are you selling these days, Chuck?:eyes:

When the choice comes to side with the American people or with the abject failure who is our esteemed pResident, those Repubs suuure know how to fall in line quick, don't they? So much for this quagmire having any semblance whatsoever of "bi-partisanship" now, huh?

To paraphrase our new hero, Jim Webb:

"I don't believe the lack of a spine was ours!" :eyes:

B-)
