Nevada to host Democratic debate: Richardson, Clinton, Biden, Gravel, Vilsack, Clark, Dodd in
February 06, 2007

Hillary Clinton has confirmed she'll attend the NV Dem candidate forum 2/21 in Carson City, sources say. Six other '08 Dems (Joe Biden, Bill Richardson, Mike Gravel, Tom Vilsack, Wes Clark and Chris Dodd) have already agreed to attend the AFSCME-sponsored event. No word from John Edwards and Barack Obama yet. (An Obama spokesman said they're still working out its schedule for that week).

Last week, reps from the Clinton, Obama and Edwards camps urged the DNC to cut down on the number of debates. There are currently more than a dozen scheduled to date, and most camps have received invites to more than 20 other forums.

1. Yay! And thanks for pointing out who's against so "many" debates.
I'm so glad that there's going to be a Western state in the primary mix, too. It's a good opportunity to sift out the prefab, blowdried and prepackaged message candidates from the ones willing to show they're able to earn electoral trust.

Pundits, beware: we bite.

2. That Blog apparently isn't aware that Dennis Kucinich is also a candidate.

3. Could it be that Gravel might do better than Kucinich?

6. That means CLARK is running for sure if he's accepted an invitation
to debate. Right? I wonder when he'll announce...maybe this Friday?

I wonder if he'll announce on Hardball? That would please Tweety and maybe he'd be nicer...and not interrupt so much or push other candidates.

Naaa! Hardball isn't important enough...just wishful thinking because I can't wait.

Interesting how some frontrunners don't want others to have so many opportunities to get their message out.

9. Edwards hasn't confirmed?
I think Nevada is his to lose with the heavy union presence. Wonder why he hasn't confirmed this yet...
