4. He made McCain's comments look stupid
Before Kerry started, McCain implied that anyone who doesn't support the mission doesn't support the troops.
Kerry called it "a leap of logic"
and reminded everybody that McCain had publically called for Rumsfield's resignation, (because Rumsfield was a failure). Senator Kerry then asked if that meant that McCain didn't support the troops either.

5. Go Kerry! Everybody has to call them on this
I am so sick of Democrats all saying how McCain walks on water.

6. Wow, is there anything "Kerry" that doesn't make it to the Greatest Page?
Hey, no offense to the OPer, but it's too funny how a post with no message in it can get voted to the GP as long as the title has Kerry in it.

Maybe the message inside is written in invisible ink or something that only the Kerry brigade can see with their special glasses.

LOL!!

7. You might say the man has name recognition.
And judging by the activity in the Kerry group, I'd say the man has a lot of friends here.

You don't need invisible ink, just the search function. I'm not here all that often, but I usually check in to see what Kerry's been up to. The search is how I find all these good threads. I've got to keep up on my reading, you know. And add a reco when I find one.

10. Like what?
Empty space where an OP should be?

I'd at least put a funny picture or something. Here you go:

See, now I'm jealous.

11. Recommendations where supporters should be
and a busy DU group.

How often do you see Hillary threads with a dozen recommendations.

12. That's because the Hillary people don't act like Junior HS groupies
Unlike the Kerry brigade, no other DU groupies automatically vote on anything Kerry.

"Kerry up on C-Span 2"....no message inside, yet it gets 8 votes for GP. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

15. Your bitterness towards Kerry borders on Junior HS dribble
DO you have to always come in and piss all over a thread about Kerry? Do you have any other hobbies?

16. I have no bitterness toward him other than the campaign he ran
Edited on Thu Feb-08-07 12:39 PM by mtnsnake
I've also seen enough posts by you to know how you love to spin things into meanings never intended.

If you had any reading comprehension skills, you'd know that I was getting on the Kerry groupies cases (like yourself), not Kerry. Wake up.

On edit: Then again, if you wanna say I'm bitter towards him for losing an election to a moron that any Democratic candidate should have won, then yes, I'm definitely bitter about that. I don't know of too many Democrats who aren't a little bitter about that.

19. Stop your crying
Kerry is as much fair game to criticism as Hillary, Dean, Edwards, Obama, or anyone.

Thank goodness, though, that Kerry dropped out of the race before he got in it. One nightmare was enough.

22. I just got a new puppy and it reminds me of you
It pees on the floor, seems disoriented at times, acts a little skittish when having to go for a walk in the cold and tends to bark too much when it's time to sleep in the crate.

Ah yes... wook woof woof! :->

14. That picture actually speaks more intelligent words than most Kerry threads combined
That's not hard to do, considering how most Kerry threads are just copied and pasted emails from his website. Good gawd, if everyone pasted every Senator's announcements like the Kerry group does with Kerry's rhetoric, there wouldn't be time to keep up...not that there is right now.

13. Not jealous. Grateful! Hillary threads are usually intelligent, not pasted emails.
This thread didn't even have one of Kerry's annoying pasted emails in it. In fact it had nothing in it, and it makes the GP. LOL!

17. Really. That's interesting
Tell me, why is it that last night, after Sen. Clinton went on the floor of the Senate and articulated her position on Iraq, there wasn't a single post on DU that discussed that speech.

Why was there no post that took what Sen. Clinton said, her talk about submitting a bill and what it meant and where it differed from other proposals put forth by other Democrats.

Surely, if the debate is so intelligent, we would have had one thread on the most critical issue of the day from one of the leading candidates for the Dem nomination. Perhaps you didn't have time to post it, as you were very busy informing 'Kerry people' that they were bothering you with threads that got recommended to the Greatest. Pity that, don't you think?
