Bush's Truman Show

This piece is in the current Newsweek. It talks about how Bush is comparing himself with Truman. It is also a rather interesting look at his insular mindset. It threw me a couple of facts that I had missed -- such as the fact that the Brits will be leaving Iraq in 2007.

The proper comparison is to Nixon - paranoid, insulated, mean, corrupt. Nixon wasn't as stupid or as malignant as * though.
