Reading this essay will take your minds off the 2008 election
--- I know this is a little lengthy,.... but it is the absolute BEST article on the behind-the-scenes history of the Bush wars in the Mideast,... particularly in terms of how it presents the confluence of Big Oil and the PNAC in the Bush administration. Anyone caring about, "truth, justice and the American way," cannot read this essay and still be willing to overlook it or let it pass.
