(Angus Reid Global Monitor) - John McCain has become the presidential frontrunner for Republican Party supporters in the Granite State, according to a poll by American Research Group. 27 per cent of likely GOP primary voters in New Hampshire would support the Arizona senator in the 2008 United States primary.
Former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani and former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney are tied for second with 20 per cent, followed by former House of Representatives speaker Newt Gingrich with 11 per cent. Support is lower for Nebraska senator Chuck Hagel, Kansas senator Sam Brownback, Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee, and Colorado congressman Tom Tancredo.
