Hannity complains about Pelosi wasting tax payer dollars

2. Or what about the Dear Leader using Air Force One to tool around to
fundraisers and photo-ops? And I understand Cheney basically travels with his own personal MASH unit, since you never know when his poor excuse for a heart will give out again; does he pay for that out of his own pocket? Or does he use his own transportation to get to his face-shootings?

3. Don't worry...this is going to be a republican swiftboat
item for now to kingdom come. Of course nothing truthful about this is ever going to come out of the republicans...I was really suprised that Snow made a comment that it was silly.

4. Today, Tony Snow called Hannity "silly" ..
Actually, he said that all the uproar is silly.
Speaker Pelosi said that she hadn't asked for the plane ..

With the youth growing away from AM hate spitters and their elders weary of BuschCo's lies especially channeled through the biased likes of Hannity and Limbaugh and his Dittoborgs, makes the real possibilities of blowback on where the real waste comes from.

6. 5 indicted in multimillion Iraq scam
bid-rigging scam

Hey Hannity the fact the Wisconsin soldier is from my hometown area makes this probably VERY widespread.

WASHINGTON -- Three U.S. Army Reserve officers, including one from Wisconsin, were indicted Wednesday, accused of taking part in a bid-rigging scam that steered millions of dollars for Iraq reconstruction projects to a contractor in exchange for cash, luxury cars and jewelry.

An American businessman in Romania was charged as the go-between for the military officers and the contractor. The husband of one of the reservists was accused of helping smuggle tens of thousands of dollars into the United States that the couple used to pay for a deck and a hot tub at their New Jersey house.

Together, the five used the $26 billion Iraqi rebuilding fund "as their own personal ATM machines," Deputy Attorney General Paul McNulty said in announcing the charges.

"These defendants actually took bricks of stolen cash ... and smuggled them out of Iraq and back to the United States for their own personal use," McNulty said.

The 25-count indictment, filed in U.S. District Court in New Jersey, marks the latest development in an investigation of $8.6 million in Iraq contracts awarded to construction mogul Philip H. Bloom.

Edited on Thu Feb-08-07 04:22 PM by StClone
I get kicked off AAR every 15 minutes -- very frustrating. I listen on-line to WXXM in Sun Prairie WI and they delay :nuke: Randi for Schultz. But, I don't get booted. Don't mind Ed but I like to have a choice!

I'm in Anchorage and I guess I shouldn't really call it "AAR".. it's actually a combination of AAR, the Jones Radio Network, and 3 local liberal talk shows.

We were the 11th city in the U.S. to first get hooked up with AAR when they first started, and it's done nothing but grown more and more popular in the Great White North!!

After Ed is on, we have 6 hours straight of local liberal talk shows ~~ The station had to make a tough decision on what to do when Big Ed's show changed it's timeframe.. but he's so popular here, they thought it was better to run him live than to run a tape-delay. When that happened, Thom Hartmann's show had to be pushed to an evening tape-delay and our 3 local programs had to adjust their hours.

Our Mayor, a very popular Democrat listens to the station constantly and calls in just about anytime a caller says something about the city they do or do not like.. It is SOOOOO funny!!! (He also calls in every Wednesday and chats with listeners about anything on their minds.. what a guy!)

What really was our savior here though was when the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) decided to buy the station shortly after it started. There's a brand new building and the broadcast is loud & clear from Anchorage all the way down to the Kenai Peninsula and into the Matanuska Valley. (That's a HUGE area)

Anchorage now has a 2nd liberal station which recently started, so we'll even have competition for our other progressive station!

Still.. even if we didn't have a choice, I wouldn't tune into Hannity, Limpalls, or whoever else they have for ANYTHING.

I'd just plug in the tunes!

But that's just me.

I am amazed at what you posted!

I live in a college town in a "smart" state that has recently acquired Ed Schultz on AM. Tune the dial anywhere else and it's a competition among O'Reiley, Shannity, Limbaugh or local Conservative freaks. Lucky you. I had the image of Alaska as a vast manly whiteness where Progressive voices never reach. Amazing that has changed and oh to be so fortunate. Love the details about the Mayor!

14. I'm an addict, I know it
I must have talk radio! Sometimes I burn podcasts to a CD for my trips. Sometimes I listen to George Jones. Then the urge hits... hopefully I'm in range of an AAR station, but sometimes I'm not...
