It's on the banner of the "Politics" page of MSNBC, so you know it must be the latest breaking news. Stop The Presses! This story is hothothot. Let's not talk about the spike in deaths among American troops in Iraq or the disappearance of billions in reconstruction funds. This story trumps all.

What's the story?

Edwards Takes Heat Over Lavish Estate

It's the same story that was discussed at some great length nearly two weeks ago here at DU (in multiple threads) and found to be largely a non-issue. But here's MSNBC flogging this dead horse as though it had a chance to win the Kentucky Derby.

I love how cons like to see everyone achieve the American Dream...but not their enemies.

Obama's elementary school is an example of a totally made up "story". Pelosi "demanding" a bigger plane. FauxNews did this with the Swiftboaters and it became "news". MSM is in a very sorry state.
