were being told at the time are all coming out to show that we here at DU were right - they were lying to us - and they did lie us into this war.

When this administration was telling us these lies - we here at DU were outing them in our posts. We were right about no WMD; no ties to Al Quida; OSP in DOD providing bogus intel; Cheney/Rove/Libby/*'s outing of Plame; and on and on and on.

Now I'm listening to Tweety and its like he's hearing all this for the first time and that he's now connecting the dots and coming to the conclusion that we were lied into this war.

Why didn't the press - while all these lies were being told to us - challenging *Co and catching them while they were telling the lies.

Now we are stuck with this unwinnable quagmire and suddenly the light bulbs are flashing.

In my mind they were complicit in the run up to the war and they should shoulder some of the blame.

1. As A Follow-Up To My Original Post Above - What Other Things Will.....

we ultimately find out we were right about? Stealing the elections? 9/11? Wellstone's death? etc, etc, etc.

...Powel and Rice all denied they were lies and continued to push for the dogs of war! All these people must be impeached and prosecuted for their crimes against the U.S. people and humanity.
