Freepers are Imploding over Rudy
Are we DU'ers really this divided over Hillary? Do we have this many threads about her? How many have said they will sit home if Hillary is the Democratic Presidential candidate? As a New Yorker and a Democrat, I find this very, very amusing. I also know the New York Press and what they can do. Is the country ready for this? Hold on to your seat belts, because if this is going to be the match up, it's going to be one hell of a bumpy, and NASTY, ride.

2. ..
Are we DU'ers really this divided over Hillary?
Yes.

Do we have this many threads about her?
Yes.

How many have said they will sit home if Hillary is the Democratic Presidential candidate?
@ 30%. But then 15% said they would sit home if Kucinich was nominated.

3. Assuming there's no overlap in those two numbers, then....
45% of respondents are full of beans. But please remember that, as DU doesn't represent the Democratic party, DU poll threads don't really represent DUers.

4. I might vote for Clinton, if given no other choice.
But I will not campaign for her. And if she should become president she should not count me as an ally.

5. I will vote for her. I will be happy to have her as my president. But...
I nonetheless have questions about some of the things she has said and done, her IWR vote high among them. She enabled * when it was expedient to do so, and became a critic only when THAT became expedient. Yes...I would be pleased to have her as the next president, but I have no illusions that she is a beacon of great principle or unwavering progressive ideals. And I see no reason why others who feel that way shouldn't be able to talk about it in a friendly setting. Let's leave blind obedience to the bushies.

6. HA!
To: Victor
Hasn't he been divorced three times, dresses up in women's clothing, has lived with homosexuals, is anti-2nd amendment, is pro-abortion, and the like? What's there to like?

OHHHHHHHH! The only thing we have to do to defeat Ruda is have the right imagine him sitting in the oval office in women's clothes.:)

7. Unless Hillaryy does something very, very stupid, I will vote for her.
I still don't know that she'll have me walking door-to-door doing literature drops, but I'll sure vote for her, no matter who the Repukes run against her.

Unless there's a really cool third-party candidate like Ralph Nader or Sharkey "The Impaler."

(That last sentence was sarcastic).

8. She is not my optimal candidate
but Kucinich, Edwards, or Obama seems more my type.

9. The meme we need to spread around.
I feel Rudy is the Republican candidate that I fear the most. We don't have anyone who could come close to him in a head to head Presidential race. If Rudy takes NY, he takes the nation.

Really, I think anyone could beat Rudy once people get to know who he really is. Fundies would probably stay home rather than vote for a liberal. But I would love to have the Republicans nominate the person that is easiest for the Democrats to defeat.

Should Rudy for some odd reason he did happen to win, at least he would be the least harmful Republican of the current batch running. The entertainment factor should also be fairly high.
