Obama: "I'm rooted in the African-American community, but I'm not defined by it."
That explains it pretty well.

1. :)
Everything he says is close to perfect and has the ring of absolute sincerity.

I'm liking him more and more every day....

2. This may be why some are attacking his authenticity
He's thinking beyond those old categories and self-limiting labels. That scares the Limbaughs of the world as well as their unwitting counterparts on the left.

3. I like what he said about the sophistication of African-American
voters, too. He knows he has to earn every vote and he isn't taking anything for granted. Gobama!

5. He's the best
I just cannot stop pushing for Obama. I have never ever gotten excited over any other political candidates. Elections for me have always just been a "do my duty" kind of thing. How however I watch Obama speak and I anticipate greater things to come.

6. He represents HOPE. He has that leadership that Kennedy had.

7. Exactly!
That's just how I've described my reaction to him: "He makes me believe in hope again."

I do think he may be exactly the one we need.
