Great Editorial on Supporting the Troops
I think the author makes many great points. I do disagree with him on the idea of America being willing to sacrifice if asked. I think many Americans would not be willing to share the sacrifices of our soldiers. I am one of those people who believes one of the reasons this war has gone on so long is that so many people do not have to bare any of the sacrifices soldiers are making.

1. George was asked what sacrifices Americans have undergone for this war.
I listened briefly to Al Franken this morning. Apparently George was virtually speechless when asked this question. Most Americans have suffered little materially from this war, for those who have sacrificed, the pain is deep, and material goods will never make up for that. Most people in the United States have no clue about the horror of war.
