Poll question: Which of these Democrats NOT running would you root for if they DID run in the Primaries?
All of the following people were at one time considered to be potential candidates for 2008, but either chose not to run or haven't made any indication to do so yet. If you could only vote for one of these "non-runners", who would it be?

8. No, and I'm SO angry at myself for nodding off at that point!
The clips I've seen since are minus audio -- I'm going to check out YouTube or C&L to see if I can find it because I was hoping he got huge applause!

4. If Al Doesn't Run, We're Screwed
Even if the Democrats manage to win, probably stuck with Ms. Clinton, it won't be a good thing. I'll be very sad for this country's future if Mr. Gore decides he doesn't want to be President any longer.

Lots of noise about H.R. Clinton and Barack Obama but I don't think the country is ready for either a woman or a black man as president. If the Dems run either we'll lose. OK! My wife is already throwing rocks at me.....

24. Correct, Warner was the one candidate who guaranteed a November rout
His problem was getting the nomination, not winning a general election.

Better than Gore because Feingold did what he did while still being responsible to his constituents. Gore was responsible to no one (for his speaking out against the Bush administration). While they have been equally brave and equally dedicated, being an officeholder wins it for Feingold.

19. The poll won't let me vote multiple times!
However, my choices, in order: GORE Dean Feingold Clark I'd work my butt off for any one of those.

22. Man .... that's a tough one. Gore, Clark, or Feingold would be SO easy to support
I can't choose just one. I want them all in the race, even if for no other reason than to put a spotlight on issues each of them hold near and dear. Were any of them to win the nom, I'd be one ecstatic clown!
