Politics.com?
I did not get it when, during his press conference, Bush asked one reporter to identify himself and he came from politics.com (or something like that).

Was there a message somewhere?

1. politico.com
Bush was just trying to humiliate the reporter. Nothing unusual.

3. "Just trying to humiliate the reporter. Nothing unusual." Damn, ain't that the truth!
I loved the way the reporter refused to take the bait.

He ignored the shit and went to his question. Made Monkey look like the ass he is...

8. I got a different impression
I thought Bush was deliberately repeating and getting the reporter to repeat the name as a way of plugging the website which is (IMHO) right leaning!

9. Well, the site owners are rabid righties, so you may have a point
Albritton Communications owns not one, but TWO channels in DC--WJLA and News Channel 8. And WJLA is an ABC affiliate, so, 'say no more,' as they say!

And it's interesting that a well-known DC guy has already QUIT (in disgust?) before the thing has even got far off the ground: http://bigheaddc.com/category/jim-vandehei/

And Wonkette has done a good job of ripping them, too: http://wonkette.com/politics/the-politico/happy-politico-day-230846.php

10. I've noticed that, too
I was very excited when they started up, but I've been disappointed with most of what I've seen.

The thing that makes their bias even worse is that CSPAN appears to have plans to use politico.com much like they already use Hotline and The Hill.
