Interesting post up at TPM.....
Sen. Schumer issues a further warning to the White House over the US Attorney purge as Sen. Kyl blocks efforts to repeal the USA Patriot Act provision giving the White House the ability to appoint US Attorneys without Senate approval.

(ed.note: We've got a lot more coming on the significance of the firing of US Atty Carol Lam in the midst of her historic indictment of the #3 man at the CIA. We'll be bringing you this shortly. There's much more there than people realize.)

Personally, I think the wholesale firing was to cover this specific AG....I think this one goes straight to the WH. They cannot afford to lose control of this case. I only hope that the Democrats can assure Carol Lam stays on this one...

1. Oooh, another warning
What's next? An admonishment? A non-binding resolution? A terse letter of regret?

Goddammit, what did they do with Democrat balls? What deep freezer did they put them in back in the 70's?

Between this bullshit and Harry Reid's Wet Noodle Diplomacy, I am about to cry.

3. Unfortunately it looks like Carol Lam just hired on to Qualcomm here!
I don't think she will be staying on to help with these prosecutions. In a way, I can't blame her. Whoever Bushco brings in to replace her would probably do a lot to make her life hell and make her job thankless. It's too bad though we couldn't get her into politics here at some point. I think she might have been a pretty good one for our side if we talked her into it!
