hundreds of billions of dollars of net worth wiped out virtually overnight
loss of sense of national security (likely never to be restored)

the majority of one urban area (still not rebuilt and increasingly being abandoned)
loss of reputation for competence
object of scorn due to exposure of the sick underbelly of wealthiest country on earth unable to care for the poor, sick, and elderly

one trillion dollars of sunk costs for gratuitous war
loss of reputation of US military due to cowboy attitude, gross disregard for Geneva, and pure imcompetence

loss of coalition of the willing (even the bribed have been fleeing)

loss of national reputation (likely never to be restored) due to deceit and/or incompetence at the highest levels

loss of competitive ability due to suppression of science in the name of catering to the idiots about us

effective loss of tri-part system of government due to GOP 11th commandment trumpeting Gods 10 Commandments and the US Constitution

loss of national surplus and retirement albeit slow of the national debt
