Worst President Ever?
I have heard and read much in recent months about how historians and other commentators are foregoing the customary 10-to-20-year waiting period in order to declare that * is in fact one of the worst presidents ever -- if not THE worst, period. But does anybody have any links or references to any such articles? Thanks for your input.

1. I have a T-shirt that proves it.
Everybody else should have one, too.

2. Pierce was worse
Bush has proven to be very bad, but I feel Franklin Pierce takes the cake.

6. Yep; they are related
It's no surprise the one of the worst presidents we have ever had is related to the worst president we've ever had. :)

Still, I think Pierce and Hoover were worse than Bush.

9. Buchanan was horrible, too
The current inhabitant may not be "worse" than those two losers, but he's got bigger toys to play with and hence can do more damage all over the place.

But will be right among them. Pierce, Buchanan and Hoover are worse.

20. True for now. Don't forget he's not done yet. Still time for him to overtake
those 3. Just when we think we have seen him at his nadir, he surprises.

12. This is the ONLY excuse
the ONLY reason for anybody to vote for *.

And I enthusiastically support him for this dubious honor.

Given a choice I'd way rather have Nixon back. ('course he's dead and can't do any more damage.)

Still, in a list of really awful presidents one cannot overlook President Cheney.
OMG how I despise this administration! :grr:

16. What did Pierce do that was worse than starting a pre-emptive war,
torturing prisoners, spying illegally on the American people, outing a CIA agent, insulting our allies, spoiling the environment for profit, warprofiteering, allowing 9/11 to happen, keeping prisoners indefinitely without charge (including US citizens,) packing the courts, removing habeus corpus, lying constantly, and a never-ending number of etcs.?
