Tony Snow says Bush "certainly was aware" of conditions at Abu Reed Building 18
Snow: President Bush ‘Certainly’ Was ‘Aware Of The Conditions In The Wards’ At Walter Reed

In today’s press briefing, a reporter asked White House Press Secretary Tony Snow about the Washington Post’s two-part series over the weekend, highlighting the Walter Reed hospital’s dilapidated conditions. Snow stated that “the president certainly has been aware of the conditions in the wards where he has visited, and visited regularly.” Snow also affirmed that the administration was aware of Walter Reed’s conditions “before the articles appeared in the paper.” Watch it:

The Army began repairs on the facilities yesterday, only after the media reports and intense public criticism. Apparently, Bush is fine with U.S. troops living in squalid conditions — as long as no one else knows about it.

13. I just did a Google image search "george bush walter reed" and
found fewer than two pages of photos. Some of those were about Bush having two moles removed from his face. I would think that you'd turn up more photos than that even on a Google search if he had been very often.

38. My dad was there for cancer treatment
when the twins and Ms Pickles were there and he said the girls were disgusting and didn't want to go into any of the rooms.

He also said Ms Pickles was less than compassionate and very cold and just going thru the motions until the cameras were turned on and then she was just this 'loving caring compassionate' person.

She tried to shake my dad's hand and he just walked away as he was thoroughly disgusted by the twins and their mother.

He, remember was wounded in WWII and spent time in WRH and had visits by the first ladies and families so knows what true compassion is....and he says it ain't the trio of bushes.

More often than not, I think Snowjob just runs his mouth without actually thinking how a reasonable person would take it.

Such as asking, "if he indeed knew, and visited often...then why is it the way it is?".

If he were a mere president, a mistake would be possible and correctible. However, emperors are never wrong, never uninformed, and never less than perfect

Therefore, of course Bush knew all about it in advance (except he didn't)

I do expect and demand a lot more from democrats.

At some point when things get bad enough even justice will no longer matter, only revenge will be left. My advise to all concerned is to think about that for a least a minute or two, and pray there is no such thing as karma and hope justice never comes to America.

Empowering Veterans, Inc. Unveils its "Worst 10" Senators

Empowering Veterans, Inc. Unveils its "Worst 10" list of incumbent Senators up for reelection in 2008. These people are very pious in the "Support the Troops" rhetoric, but most hypocritical when it comes to voting to support members of the Armed Forces and their families and veterans and their families.

Empowering Veterans Unveils it "Worst 10" List of Senators

My name is Ralph Parrott. I am a 65 year old retired Navy Supply Corps Captain and retired businessman from Fairfax Station, Virginia. I served in the US Navy from March 1963 until September of 1990, over 27 years.

(snip)
The "Worst 10" on issues relating to members of the Armed Forces and their families and veterans and their families are:

Alexander of Tennessee
Chambliss of Georgia
Cochran of Mississippi
Coleman of Minnesota
Cornyn of Texas
Dole of North Carolina
Graham of South Carolina
Roberts of Kansas
Sessions of Alabama
Sunnunu of New Hampshire
