Border Guards should be pardoned (part 4)
Well it would seem that the Prosecution withheld evidence in the case against Ramos and Compean the two border Guards that supposedly shot a fleeing druggie in the ass. They failed to turn over material to the Defense that is required under the law.

2. This Board reeks of unnecessary sarcasm!!! Guess no one is
allowed an opinion without a smartass remark from the opposition.

6. What opposition? Apparently you are a mind reader and can understand what
the OP is referring to.

Since I'm without that power, I just said, "If you say so," since I didn't have the slightest reference to what the OP was talking about.

In that vain I would like to say to you that,

Those women they arrested should be released because the cops are lying!

If you were to respond to me, "If you say so," I wouldn't take that to assume you are part of the opposition. I also wouldn't assume you were a smart ass.

7. So if you had no idea what I was talking about, why bother posting...
anything in response? Your post really didn't add much to the thread!

3. Guess I should have clarified that better as well. The Prosecution...
failed to hand over documents that the defense was entitled to have.... That to me is a miscarriage of justice, and I think that you more than likely see either a new trial, or a full dismissal against the two border guards.

5. Racists... They are Hispanic for Heaven sake! How the hell can...
they be racist? Mark my words, these guys will either be exonerated in a new trial, or the Judge will throw the whole case out during appeal..... You can take this to the bank.... This was a Bull Shit case from the start, and it's falling quickly as we move along.

11. If true, they get a new trial, not a pardon...
AND...if it is true, as has been reported, that they shot an unarmed person in the back as that person was fleeing, then they don't DESERVE a pardon, under any circumstances. Additionally, if it is true, as has been reported, that they did not know the person was transporting drugs (- and BTW, my understanding is that it was marijuana, not heroin or coke -) until after they shot him in the back, that only reinforces my opinion that they would not DESERVE a pardon.

However, without a link to an actual news report, I have no idea if your claim that the prosecution withheld evidence is correct. If it is, though, that does NOT result in a pardon, it results in a new trial...wrongfully withheld evidence does not necessarily translate into exonerating evidence.
