1. Hmmmm, meaningless in the long run.
Edited on Wed Feb-21-07 07:44 PM by Kerry2008
But interesting in the present. John Edwards still leading in Iowa? And wow, Obama and Clinton tied. Neck and neck. Only 9% of Iowans support not withdrawling from Iraq, HA!!

Again, meaningless in the long run. But pretty fun to pick a part.

2. Somehow that cheers me up.
I'm more a Clark or Gore guy but there's a down-to-earth quality about Edwards that reassures me.

7. Remember Dean? Early polls don't mean much this early
One year out? I have a feeling one of the underrated candidates on both sides will break out in Iowa. The Iowa electorate is hard to pin down and any tiny change in the wind could doom a front runner.

As for national polls, they are even less relevant.

A month is infinity in politics...so what's 10 x Infinity?

:wtf:?

The Iowa Caucus is not until next winter and we still have an entire year of governing to do.

17. Odd.
64% favor withdrawal from Iraq within six months, and yet, the ONLY candidate who pledges to withdraw within that time frame (Dennis Kucinich) gets only 1% of the vote?

Go figure!

19. Not really that odd.
I'd guess that you'd get the same poll numbers on a national level. Most likely, one of two reasons for that: the war isn't their only consideration for president and/or they don't actually know the candidates stance.

Clark polling beneath Vilsack (aflack!), Biden, and Richardson? I guess if you figure that he hasn't actually entered the race yet, but sheesh!

so, it's not surprising he's so low.
