I don't understand how the British are pulling out the troops and
yet are saying that Prince Harry is going to Iraq in charge of 11 troops.

3. They're drawing down the troop levels, not pulling out all.
Because that would be too great an offense to Tony Blair's pride, which is greater than any issues of royalty.

4. The Brits are not pulling ALL of their troops out
only 1,500. I believe the total British force in Iraq is around 7,000.

6. they're pulling a fraction of their troops from regions they already don't control
for the simple reason that the Labor Party is polling terribly right now and it looks so bad that the Conservatives might return to power. Blair had to do something, so being Blair he took the most weasel like option available to him.

And don't they look happy!
