1. I'd go to work for Gore tomorrow.
Otherwise, I'm keeping my powder dry.

4. Other
This is the time to be eliciting the most from ALL of our candidates by communicating our needs to them and waiting to commit to the one who best represents what needs to be done for all of us until closer to the primaries.

Why would anyone make an effort for what they think is a done deal?

15. It is way too early, I feel
The general public will be sick of all the candidates that are in the field already. The mud will be slung, the media will tell us who the front runners are and whoever is the front runners now will later be last.

Joe six-pack won't want any of them at the time of the primaries because of the over exposure.

This is the earliest I have ever seen candidates declare. Gore should just bide his time and garner as much world praise and accolades and declare in the fall of 2007.

20. Let's not play THEIR game. Let's play our own.
If we dance to their tune, we give them fodder to use against us.

Let's do something New, different, more creative, less divisive. I believe this also helps the candidates reach toward ALL of us, makes them try harder to address our priorities.

5. I think Al's afraid he'll get bumped off like JFK did
when he tried to stop a profitable war.

7. Gore Just Has to Understand the "Life Insurance" Principle of VP Selection
Gore caved in 2000 because he realized he would be JFK'ed if he won.
Lieberman, as we now know, would be more than willing to attack Iraq, Iran, or any other country that ever dissed Israel.

Nobody tried to assassinate or impeach Bush** because then Cheney would have been President. :scared:

The wingnuts never tried to assassinate Clinton because then Gore would have been President. :)
They would not have gone for impeachment either if it had any chance of succeeding.

Nobody tried to assassinate or impeach Bush I because then Dan Quayle would have been President. :scared:

Nixon figured he was safe from impeachment because nobody would have wanted Spiro Agnew as President. :scared:
(He was, until Agnew got caught on taxes).

If Gore picks Kucinich as VP, nothing untoward will happen to Gore.

12. But
why did two people try to kill Ford? The powers-that-be wanted Rockefeller as President? And the attempt on Truman in '50 was by a cabal trying to install Alben Barkley?

13. I think Obama would be even better assassination insurance for Gore than Kucinich.
The kind of pig-ignorant Freeperyahoo who would want to gun him down is the same kind of pig-ignorant Freeperyahoo who would say, "Shee-YITT, I can't kill that Gore fucker no matter how much I hate him, 'cause his vice-president is a goddamn COON!" -- or some such thing. And for Obama, the vice-presidency would be excellent on-the-job executive training for the presidency, once Gore left office in 2017 as the only man since FDR to be elected President of the United States not once, not twice, but three, count 'em, THREE times.

8. I would support him unless Clark were running.
It would admittedly be a tough call, I have great respect and admiration for Gore....but I do think it's time to move on, and I think he wants to continue his Climate change crusade in as non-partisan a way as possible.

9. It'd be nice to know what his platform is???
Where is he on single payer healthcare?

How's he feeling about NAFTA nowadays?

What's his position on the TeleCom Act that helped keep his most significant speech to date (MLK Day) off the MSM?

Has he renounced Satan (the DLC)?

Where does he stand on outsourcing and immigration?

What about Election Reform?

if Wes Clark doesn't get into the race.

He would be higher on my list than most others.
