The joy of being non-committed

I have not decided who I will support for the nomination of our party. Its going to stay that way for a while. The election is still pretty far off and there is no benefit to me,deciding this early. I am going to wait and watch and listen closely. I think the campaign matters almost as much as one's record. The tone, the strategy exhibited, of course the public statements all matter.They matter to me anyway. The election campaign has a way of showing us things, good and bad about every candidate who enters the fray. The power of intense public scrutiny has a way of tearing off the veneer politicians spend years assembling around themselves.

why should I commit to this or that one? I can favor any or all of them at this point, change my mind and drop somebody like a hot rock if it suits me. Thats the joy I am referring to.I am going to keep it around for a few more months.

The only reason I've already chosen one is because the candidate I prefer already ran in '04 and I see no reason to change.I agreed with him then and I agree with him now.
