Liberal and Conservative ride a tandem bike up a hill

At the top of the hill, the liberal (up front) says, "Boy, that hill was steep!"

The conservative, who was riding in the back, says "Yeah. If I hadn't been on the brakes, we would have rolled back down!"

1. I think the truth is more like the Conservatives are always

trying to peddle the wrong way and go backwards. They not only want to keep new reforms from going through, they want to roll back the clock to happier times (for them). They would like to go back to the time when labor unions were illegal, slavery was legal, there was no Social Security, and health care was only for the rich.
It would be nice of the American people would wake up and realize all of the things that make their lives worth living today were brought to them by Liberals and Democrats in the past, and stop voting for the damned Republicans.

2. Whenever I encounter someone complaining about how much something

cost as compared to decades ago, I point out that they should remember what their wages would have been, too ...
