There's a war in Iraq
People are dying, right now.

This president was not elected

twice.

This unelected administration is making the same (bogus, misdirected) case for preemptive war

again.

There are no guarantees that there will be

free and fair elections in 2008.

Is the campaigning and the teeth-gnashing about candidates a bit

premature?

Maybe the people who deserve to be elected president are the ones

not running,

who are focused on The People's business and the challenges of righting the American ship of state from sinking.

1. I think the candidates who intend to run in 2008
are already in the ring. I also believe that the Dem candidates are indeed still doing the jobs they were elected to do. It is terribly early for campaigning, but the reality is that it is happening and some people know who they will support already. Those who don't want to see the early campaigning and resultant reactions must bury their head in the sand or deal with it. Let's just focus on getting the correct party in office!

3. You are correct!
"Maybe the people who deserve to be elected president are the ones not running, who are focused on The People's business and the challenges of righting the American ship of state from sinking."

It's all about money and getting free publicity 12 months ahead of time and not much else!

Our political system is bankrupt, and none of the fucking candidates are talking about those damn voting machines or media conglamoration, the biggest obstacles to righting most of the wrongs that we endure.
